About Shelby Hurst

As a proud graduate of the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and Chickasha native, I’m passionate about building meaningful connections that make a difference. For the past decade, I served as Business Development Manager at HSI Sensing, where I specialized in cultivating trusted relationships with customers and delivering custom sensing solutions with a personal touch. Now, as Director of Development at USAO, I’m honored to combine my professional experience with my deep love for this community and university. I’m committed to strengthening engagement with students, alumni, and donors, and supporting USAO’s mission of providing a personalized, liberal arts education. Whether leading initiatives through local boards, events, or development efforts, I’m driven by purpose, connection, and the belief that strong relationships are the key to long-term impact.
