About Shelby Schreckenberg

I graduated from Missouri S&T with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. I’m currently getting my Master’s in Engineering degree of Space Operations at the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs. I have a background with working on cars before college. While attending college, I had multiple internships that have gave me great skill sets for an engineer. I was involved with 3D designing, creating 2D designs for projects,overcome obstacles when a part doesn’t work, component and mission assurance,etc. While in college, I held multiple executive positions in clubs that gave me leadership skills to apply to any job. I took classes that gave me the experience to build a project with a group, learn how to code, and solve engineering problems. Also in college, I had the experience to join many different organizations that gave me the opportunity to work on real-life projects and machines. I was able to learn how to use many machine shop tools, electrical tools, and aerospace tools and machinery. With this, I know how to be hands-on with a project and perform a task correctly. I am interested in Systems Engineering that includes, but not limited to, space launch missions, space exploration, and the designing of the space craft that is launched. I enjoy learning about the ways and paths that are taken to ensure that spacecraft is designed to overcome challenges and send back information that we were hoping for.
