At my core, I’m driven by a simple belief: communities thrive when they hold the power to shape their own futures. As a food and environmental justice advocate, I’m passionate about creating spaces where BIPOC voices lead the conversation, especially in reclaiming food sovereignty, land justice, and the right to heal. My work is deeply rooted in the power of community. Whether it’s advancing Black Food Sovereignty in Toronto, supporting youth initiatives in food systems change, or exploring how land connects us to culture and resilience, I’m committed to building bridges between generations, traditions, and visions for a more just world. Beyond food and land, I’m fascinated by healing, not just for individuals, but for communities carrying intergenerational trauma. That’s why I’m studying psychedelics and consciousness, with a focus on racial equity in therapeutic spaces. I’m curious about how these tools can help dismantle barriers for BIPOC folks seeking healing, and how we can center community wisdom in these conversations.
