About Sheldon Franchuk

Currently part of OPG's Inspection and Reactor Innovation (IRI) division, dedicated to ensuring the safe operation of Canada's nuclear power plants. Formerly, as part of a young company breaking new ground in an under-served market, I developed a wide set of skills in unique and challenging environments around the world. I developed new technologies, instituted troubleshooting methodologies, created training programs, all while keeping a focus on client management to ensure profitability. My background in physics provides me with the knowledge base to confidently tackle any problem, often from a unique perspective. This skill is aided by my years of experience in problem solving in field operations. My project management experience is also wide-ranging, having led over a hundred operations from one-day inspection jobs all the way up to major asset management projects with budgets over $10M per year.
