About Sheldon Lopez

The world is an ever changing place and we are constantly trying to make sense of it all. As an Economist, this statement is very much relevant as collecting, cleaning and compiling numerous data sets is needed for a productive analysis process to take place. Having worked within the International accounts unit at the Bank of Jamaica, I have experience in dealing with a plethora of data and information on a daily basis as well as significantly contributing to results oriented analyses with the aim of gaining a complete understanding of any changes or trends observed. Working within a team as well as independently has also been a common characteristic in my work experience. Teamwork is essential to an efficient workflow as this optimizes productivity within the workplace. On the other hand, working on my own has added to my personal development. Denzel Washington once said "Ease is a greater threat to progress than hardship. So, keep moving, keep growing, keep learning" This is a quote that I wholesomely agree with and resonates with my will and personality to never give up in the face of adversity and to keep challenging myself and growing as a result of having experienced those challenges.
