Proven ability to develop and implement test hardware and software solutions providing full coverage and validation of designs while meeting business expectations. • Leadership in silicon electrical and optical lab validation and characterization • Experience provided key skills in managing test engineering projects from designing test fixtures, procuring equipment, developing test programs and software tools, to managing sub-contract manufacturers, and managing reliability activities • Developed and supported high speed test capability on ATE for products at both in-house and outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) locations from new product introduction (NPI) through to production • Demonstrated product engineering experience My career has span over companies such as Celestica, Nortel, AMD, Semtech, Huawei and at smaller start-ups such as Quake Technologies (acquired by AMCC). The start up experience allowed me to evolve as a Test Engineer, not only from test program development ownership, but also having responsibility for PCB design and procurement, interfacing with test house sub-contractors, and having a greater exposure to product engineering and reliability activities. Within the larger companies this experience allowed me to develop better communication and leadership/mentor skills. Through all these experiences I have gained broad technical knowledge from software/hardware development both in the R&D lab and on ATE, to test tool development, and product engineering tools and analysis.
