My love for writing and communications has seen me develop a diverse set of skills centered around content creation. From digital to print to social media, I believe in the power of storytelling with the ability to connect with people through humanization of the written word. I have a strong eye for detail and focus on in-depth stories of interest. Strengthening workplace community through social engagement and leadership, I use my experience to effectively plan and organize impactful events and communication campaigns. I believe we are better together, celebrating diversity and honouring the uniqueness each person offers to teams, and championing those skills. Connection is important for me in all facets of life, and I believe this happens through authentic, respectful and nurturing relationships. From helping companies increase social media followers to creating and implementing thorough marketing and communications plans to long-form stories, I focus on working with people and helping them achieve project objectives. SMART-Style Accomplishments: Co-led Hull’s Pride Planning Committee, coordinating three events that increased internal participation and visibility of 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion efforts Collaborated with cross-functional teams to plan Hull in One Golf Classic and Hullelujah, supporting event logistics, fundraising, and vendor communications, contributing to over in raised funds for Hull Services Outside of work, I focus my life on being as active as possible and spending as much time in nature as I can, and immerse myself in my community. Deeply connected to the running community in Calgary, I am an ultra-marathon runner and a UESCA-certified run coach. I volunteer at road races and on two committees with Hull Services, and help serve food during holiday season at Calgary shelters.
