About Shellene Lewis
This field chose me. I started as a Laboratory Assistant at Labcorp in 2005 and quickly discovered that working in the laboratory was the path I’m was supposed to be on. In 2014, I decided to go back to school. I attended Goodwin College in East Hartford where to received my Associates degree in Science and my certification in Histological Science. Right after school I noticed the flood of histology jobs in New York and that I went I applied for the License and got it. Although, I do not physically see patients, I treat each specimen with pride, respect and dignity.
