I pride myself on my legacy as an action-ordinated, passionate, pragmatic Human Resource (HR) professional with a professional mission to create and maintain a positive engaging culture. I am a ‘common sense” adaptable leader with commercial acumen that constructively challenges HR strategies to achieve best practice while empowering managers within the business. I am a flexible, resilient, quick learner that can fit into any organisation fast and add instant value. As a genuine influencer, I craft a mix of strategic and pragmatic people solutions by implementing a variety of finely tuned initiatives and approaches. I have proven experience in organisational change including restructures, developing and implementing reward and recognition frameworks, develop and review learning and development programmes to build capabilities for high performing teams and to develop future leaders, manage engagement surveys, re-invent and implement “out of the box” recruitment strategies with the focus on candidate care and workforce planning within the New Zealand context and abroad. I continue to design and realign remunerations strategies based on tangible graded skills matrix. I resolve a wide range of complex employment relations issues and have proven experience in a unionised environment including collective bargaining and have built a creditable on-going relationship with union officials, delegates and employees. I lead from the front to create a collaborative and commercially innovative culture, which has earned me the trust, confidence and respect of senior leaders and employees. My ultimate career goal is to head HR for a large organisation where I can continue to create and maintain a positive engaging culture and leverage my professional expertise. I am an associate member of HRINZ and hold a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource, Employment Relations and Commercial Law.
