About Shelley Peele

Who knew a love of math would have been the cornerstone of my career? It drew me to my first job troubleshooting rates of returns for financial advisors and now to my current role as a business analyst at a bank. By honing my critical thinking and analytical skills, I’ve developed a great intuition for strategizing and providing well thought-out solutions. As a result, I’ve had many opportunities to apply these skills in a wide range of roles. I strongly influenced product strategy in the roles of client service manager, organizational readiness, and business analyst. My expertise, perspective and thought partnership made me instrumental for successful planning sessions. I’ve written product requirements, oversaw product development, and ensured quality standards were met. I always build strong cross-departmental relationships where I become a trusted resource for help and guidance. I excel at not only developing a vision but gaining full team support with flawless execution. I led numerous project initiatives to implement new internal technologies and automate workflows, which resulted in improved efficiencies and reduced risk. I spun up two teams from scratch, which allowed me to shape all the required processes, metrics, and infrastructure. I was a project leader that transitioned an entire product line to a new company due to an acquisition. I thrive on change because of the opportunity it brings to evolve a business. I ran all facets of a client service team for over fifteen years and took pride in fostering a positive team culture. I developed a lot of great talent, with many employees using the skills I helped them hone to advance their career. In turn, my team diligently delivered high value products and services that made our clients intensely loyal. Even in a fast-paced and stressful environment, we had fun while doing serious work. My experience managing a large client service team gave me an incredible foundation to take on any challenge. I’ve really enjoyed the last couple of years moving solely to an individual contributor role, where I have focused on strategy and business development.(With problems to solve and goals to meet, I guess you could say it’s all still just math!) I am looking forward to growing my career with more product ownership and business planning responsibility.
