About Shellie Beeman

Shellie Alicia Beeman earned her Doctor of Arts degree in Voice with a secondary in Speech-Language Pathology from Ball State University in Muncie, IN while studying with Dr. Meryl Mantione of Ball State University. She currently works at Jacksonville State University in Alabama as Associate Professor of Voice. She joined the faculty of Bob Jones University from 2016-2021 after 2 years at Adams State University from 2014-2016 where she taught private voice and vocal pedagogy courses. Shellie has also taught as an Adjunct Professor of Voice at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN and as Instructor of Voice at Northland International University in Dunbar, WI. Shellie holds a CMVT certification (McClosky Certification of Voice Science) through Northwestern State University, LA, allowing her to work with singers manifesting or recovering from voice disorders as well as a certificate of training from the CCM Vocal Pedagogy Institute at Shenandoah University.
