I currently work contingent in a Free-standing Emergency Department, fighting to work my way up the ladder! I came to the freestanding ER from a large, very busy level 2 trauma center/comprehensive stroke center. I love being an ER nurse, and I also recently finished training as a Forensics/SANE nurse and took on a full-time Forensic Nurse Coordinator position.
