About Sheri Dethlefs

Legal operations executive with over 25 years of experience transforming legal departments into high-performing, business-aligned powerhouses. With particular expertise in intellectual property and pioneering change, I have a proven track record of designing and executing innovative programs that optimize efficiency, scale legal services globally, and elevate legal departments as trusted, service-oriented business partners. Currently Head of Global Legal Operations at a leading enterprise AI SaaS company, reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, I oversee legal ops across international offices. In addition to partnering with the CLO overseeing the day-to-day activity of the legal department, I am responsible for the selection, implementation and maintenance of legal tech and knowledge management tools, as well as design and implementation of cutting edge programs, ensuring our legal function delivers best in class support while operating with the efficiency and rigor required, including during critical times of rapid M&A growth. I thrive at the intersection of legal, technology, and business strategy—leveraging data to drive insights, implement scalable processes, and ensure legal teams are focused on high-impact, high-risk work that supports broader organizational goals.
