About Sherin Easo

Working across academia and industry, I specialise in advancing education and workforce development to enhance evidence-based, patient-centred care. At St Vincent’s Health Australia and the University of Notre Dame Australia, I play a key role in designing and delivering programs, including the Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care Nursing, to prepare nurses for the complexities of modern healthcare.With expertise in program coordination, curriculum development, and teaching subjects such as biosciences, pharmacology, and palliative care at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I aim to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical application. My focus is on fostering a well-prepared workforce capable of meeting the growing demand for high-quality, person-centred care.My current research focuses on implementation science in palliative care, exploring how evidence-based frameworks can improve the integration of palliative approaches within acute hospital settings. This work contributes to developing sustainable models of care that empower generalist nurses, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and support system-level change in end-of-life and palliative care delivery.
