About Sherrik Conover

Sherrik Conover, Born in Newark, New Jersey in 1977, middle child of 4 siblings. Learned the importance of providing for my family from my strong mother. She taught me that it's not about how much you make, it's how you manage it. My step-father taught me about hard work and how education was key to striving in life. Fast forward 25 yrs later, after being an IT Director making 6-figures, I still didn't fully practice the basic factors of finance until after my mother took ill with brain-cancer, which ultimately took her away from us. What I learned, was that our mother practiced what she had preached to us for so long about managing your finances and ensuring that your families legacy is protected. I then in 2018 began the transition of becoming a Licensed Financial Professional. I now work with families, individuals, and business owners in my community, helping them to understand the importance of financial literacy. Through the GFI platform I am able to spread the awareness of Financial Literacy at events, churches, schools etc. My Goal is to ensure that no family is left behind, one family at a time, starting with my own!
