About Sherry Dopp

I am an experienced marketing professional with more than 25 years working in government relations, public relations, and business development. I have planned, led, and executed marketing and public relations programs in the United States, Europe, and China. I have worked closely with domestic and foreign partners to accomplish key business goals and have represented businesses from a wide range of industries including food, chemicals, and financial and legal services. Following my passion for food and to learn more about the retail food business, I marketed catering services to corporate, organizational, and individual clients for an upscale food market in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This experience has given me a better appreciation for marketing to and working directly with retail customers. Through my company, ZimmieCy, I created and run Théology Tea, which sells high-quality loose teas and accessories for tea drinkers. In 2014, I became a certified tea specialist awarded by the Specialty Tea Institute in New York.
