During the last 30+ years in my career as an LPN, I have developed a deep respect and dedication to the field of nursing and a continuing desire to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I pursued nursing at a very young age after gaining an interest while participating in the well-being and health care of my grandparents. Due to that experience I uphold the highest respect and care for my patients, am committed to quality Person-Centered Care, whether directly or indirectly and always care for them just as I would want my family members to be treated. I have developed strong clinical and patient advocacy skills. I am proficient with computer sand software programs, research and problem solving skills and have sound knowledge with regulatory documentation, clinical auditing and formulating source documents. I am seeking a position with a stable company with growth potential so I can utilize my aquired skills and accept new challenges. My experience includes working in a variety of Health Care Settings including Hospitals, Rehabilitation and Long Term Care Facilities, Physician Office and Home Care (Adult/Pediatric/Vent) Over 8+ years experience with EMR implementation, training and support and 3 years as MDS Care Plan Coordinator for medicare/non-medicare residents. Background also includes Health Care Screenings/ Insurance Physicals, Medical Device Sales, website updating and in-servicing. IV Certified
