Currently an Outpatient Therapist at ANEW Behavioral Health. Believing in a human beings ability to change and gain autonomy, I offer judgement free, safe, and honest clinical therapy for clients to gain knowledge and practice healthy coping skills to gain and maintain sobriety and emotional regulation. I currently facilitate Intensive Outpatient, Drug Court Liaison, and utilize collaborative documentation to complete service plans, coping plans, and diagnostic assessments. As an LICDC and LPC I am hoping to expand my clinical scope of practice. Utilizing barriers in thinking and responsible thinking steps, clients are educated in skills to change their thinking to responsible behaviors. Structured groups/individuals/case management, crisis case management, and learning activities enable a client to see his/her thinking and behavior in hopes client will exhibit growth in a productive manner while allowing self-motivation. I specialize in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, Sex Offender, Family and Couples Therapy. I also have experience in teaching Relapse Prevention, Aftercare Tx services, Cultural Diversity, Child Support/Father's Rights sessions, Life skills, conduct PREA screening, Drug Court, and sexually inappropriate clientele. The goal is to enable clients to be aware of their high risk choices and practice autonomy while living a recovery lifestyle responsibly.
