About Sherry Roddy

I have been in the desktop publishing, graphic design and print production industry for more than 40 years. Having started my career in the newspaper field as a darkroom technician for the Edna Herald in 1975, I soon learned photography, typesetting and layout. In 1997, I joined the staff at the El Campo Leader-News as a darkroom technician and soon learned a multitude of skills, including graphic design and layout, production, headline writing, photography, column writing and general reporting. In 1988, I became the advertising manager for the Leader-News, a position I held until I left to start my own business. In 1992, I left the newspaper industry to pursue a new career in commercial offset printing as owner/operator of R&R Printing with my husband Donnie as my partner.
