Twenty-six years of nursing experience starting with twelve years of frontline experience in intensive care unit as bedside clinician, charge nurse and clinical coordinator. Fourteen years of leadership experience as clinical nurse educator and manager over multiple units, including med-surg, float pool, open heart recovery, and intensive care. My personal mission statement is simple. “It’s about the patient…always.” The framework I incorporate as the nucleus for my nursing career and practice is to make a positive influence in three spheres: Patients/Families, Nurses, and Systems.
