Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch including managing teller staff, balancing vault and ATM, resolving assorted member issues, training/mentoring staff. Provide an open dialogue to staff about their performance and ensure their compliance with the credit union’s guidelines and principles. Responsible for taking applications for consumer and mortgage loans, underwriting, processing and approving/denying loans, extensive analysis of credit reports. Accountable for all of mortgage lending including compliance and recordkeeping. Improve work atmosphere by encouraging positive attitudes throughout the credit union. Prioritize and schedule tasks based on member needs and available resources. Work one-on-one with members to provide credit score improvement guidelines and budget counseling. Author proposals to the Board of Directors, which include detailed financial information as well as member relationship information and provide my recommendation.
