About Sheryl Lim

Hi! I am Sheryl, a slow to warm up but extroverted girl whom has a passion for giving my children the best they can receive. I am currently a preschool teacher at E-Bridge Preschool. My philosophy is that I believe every child is unique in their own way and they should be given the opportunity to explore how they learn best. Thus, I enjoy teaching children the topics which they are interested in, so that they can absorb and learn the most. Throughout my 3 years of Diploma, the modules that I have taken and the practicum and internship experiences has allowed me to learn, understand and apply what I have learnt in school. It allowed me to be able to learn some new skills such as classroom management, lesson planning, lesson implementation, routines and transitions. I am excited to start my journey as a full-fledged teacher to bring more joy and knowledge to the children. Every other time that I do not have school, you can find me volunteering. I spent most of my free time volunteering as it gives me a platform to use my leadership skills and give back to the society. Volunteering gives me a sense of peace and allows me to take a break from all other stress. Volunteering also provides a platform for me to use my creativity to good use, especially when designing of posters or gifts. I also get the chance to interact with children and teenagers, which allows me to be able to see how the children grow up and how they change as time passes."It takes a big heart to shape a little mind"
