About Sheryl Russo

I was raised in a wonderful world of creativity with a father who was an engineer for General Electric for a career, and a cartoonist and full of amazing talent as an artist and musician. My mother was a professor at Evergreen Jr. College and developed & taught the Fashion Design and Merchandising Department. I was taught to sew at the age of 5 and to be creative every day of my life. I participated in several fashion/design contests and had a great time. I was accepted into Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1981 as an Applied Art & Design Major and loved every minute of it. At 21 years of age I married my best friend, Victor, who was a Youth Pastor, and we began a 20 year journey of ministry to Jr. High, High School and College age youth. During that time I took up Medical Transcription.basically because it helped pay the bills that a Pastor's salary did not. It also allowed me to stay at home while raising the two most important people in my life, besides my husband, our daughter, Jenna, and our son, Casey. After they were grown I needed to get out of the house and I continued my career in the Medical Field outside of my home, all the while never giving up on my dreams of growing a business of my own completely devoted to what I love.design, Professional Font Writing, calligraphy, and creativity of all kinds. The best part is that now I get to be creative with my granddaughter, Hailee, and grandson, Wyatt, and have oodles of fun!
