About Shibly Abdullah

With over 20 years of experience leading and managing in academia, I am a seasoned educator with a passion for teaching and learning. Currently, I serve as the Course Coordinator of Accounting and Business Studies at the Charles Sturt University Study Centers Australia, where I supervise a number of postgraduate and undergraduate business courses, manage an academic team, and guide and mentor students to achieve their academic goals. My dedication to teaching has been recognized through excellence in teaching awards in 2021 and 2022 from Charles Sturt University Australia. Prior to my current role, I held senior roles at Academies Australasia group of colleges, where I was responsible for compliance management and academic leadership. I have also taught and conducted research at CQ University, Australia, and American International University-Bangladesh. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am also involved in university debate and cultural club as well as social and cultural activities and have received the Community Leadership Award in 2022 for my contributions to the local community. My diverse experiences in academia have equipped me with a broad range of expertise, including curriculum design, program management, quality assurance and student engagement. Moving forward, I am eager to continue contributing to the field in areas that can make a meaningful impact.
