About Shichen Ji

I'm currently a senior software engineer at Qualcomm and working on Qualcomm Automotive Products, and I'm always willing to try and explore new things in different fields. I pursued my Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Engineering degrees from the Edwards S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Toronto. Through my studies, I developed a great interest in how machine learning techniques can be used to resolve problems and overcome difficulties in other fields of ECE and CS, such as multimedia systems and digital signal processing, as I have completed various projects involving the application of neural networks. I am also interested in how business and public interests and technical developments assist or restrict each other, which is a typical situation in business operations, project management, and our daily life. Speaking away from work and education, I am also a Level 1 ski instructor (with Level 2 Teaching Qualification) certified by the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance (CSIA). Currently, I'm learning snowboarding in addition to consistently improving my skiing skills. I'm also a huge fan of cars and motorsports and an enthusiast in cuisine, bartending, and latte arts.
