About Shievani Singh

As a facilitator at Saajha, my profile was vast and ever-changing. I was in charge of handling 10 government schools. I was on the field every day, talking to parents, teachers and kids, to improve educational outcomes. Every day was a learning experience. I helped conduct PTM’s, successfully helped recruit parents for School Management Councils, conducted home visits for students living in slum areas, organised training events for upskilling their parents to help increase the parent's involvement in their children’s education. The experience at Saajha made me realize I am a fast learner. After switching profiles, from an on the field every day, Facilitator for an educational NGO, to a project Executive for a Skill development Company, in 3 months I was given my own project to execute. Besides proposal writing, I learnt how to manage clients and colleagues, for data collection and project execution. I have helped submit various proposal, for the company, for government and corporate skill development projects. Currently, I am managing a team of 9 people, for the content editing of a new App being developed for students in classes 1-12.
