Background
About Shiloh Kocelj
I've spent the last 10+ years at Walters & Wolf Glass company working as a project manager, while also leading our research and development of building integrated photovoltaics. In the past 8 years we have fully design a propriety system that incorporates solar technologies into our curtain wall as well as sunshades. We have put our BIPV systems through testing to receive all the necessary UL certifications to meet code and safety requirements. We are constantly improving and changing our system to keep up with ever changing code requirements and advancements in the solar industries technologies. In order to push BIPV as whole into the marketplace we have developed relationships and partnerships with other key players. We have partnered with a local glass supplier "SolarFab" to produce the solar glass that glazes into our units or sunshades. We have worked closely with Next Energy to help the development in their transparent solar glass.
