About Shilpa Kumar

I have worked at The Westin San Francisco Airport as a lead host/supervisor and server for about 2 ½ years. This position has taught me how to deal with many styles of people from around the world. Also this position has given me many opportunities such as being part of the Associate development program. In this program I worked hand on hand with the director of rooms. Also during this program I worked closely with the accounting department, which taught me many of their procedures. Within my current position, I have learned how to monitor employee tasks, report directly to my current manager, train new staff members, and work hand on hand with my manager on important tasks. Other achievements are explained in my resume. Currently I work for Hallmark Aviation at San Francisco International Airport. I am a customer service associate and work in many operations assignments. The areas consists of baggage, arrival and departure. I am knowledgeable about the airport functions as well as how to deal with one on one customer relations. I am currently a student at San Francisco State University and will be receive my BA in Business administration with a concentration in management in May 2019. I have many skills in word, excel, PowerPoint, and outlook. Also I have many social skills that go above everyone’s expectations. Being at Skyline College where I received my AA in business administration as well as Communication Studies, I am also familiar with websmart, degree works, and webaccess. I have multi-tasking and time-management skills. I am capable of many business administrative job duties because of my self-discipline outlook and quick response time.
