My name is Shine Thomas, I am an environment, health and safety professional working with Weir Minerals as SHE Lead. I have a mechanical engineering background and my passion towards safety had driven me to this field. Apart from my bachelors in mechanical engineering, I am a certified ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 lead auditor and also having NEBOSH, IOSH, Emergency First Aid courses which would definitely add value to my profile. I am proud that within a span of five years of technical experience in EHS both in manufacturing and auditing areas, I was able to act as a “game changer” in all the organizations where I have worked. My key accomplishments include; passed more than 30 EHS and compliance audits in various companies as per ISO and legal standards, given technical trainings in various topics in EHS to more than employees, Implemented ISO standards and systems, reduced injury and illness to 30 % within one year. I am pretty much confident that I can add value to your organization by incorporating my diverse technical skills and competencies which would enhance the Environmental health and safety performance of your organization.
