I lead "Construction Engineering Group" which belongs to "Facility Management Division" in Fujitsu. My team consists of 14 engineers (Each engineer is an expert in planning and construction management of architecture, electrical, air conditioning and sanitation, soil and groundwater pollution control, and special gas installations) including 2 managers. We are mainly in charge of in-house construction management for a variety of Fujitsu Group construction investment projects in Japan (New construction, renovation, and demolition of offices, factories, and data centers) and work with design affiliates, general construction companies, and construction companies specializing in electricity and air conditioning and sanitation as partners and work together on projects. Prior to that, as "Regional Facilities Manager" of Fujitsu Group in 11 Asian countries, which I have been in charge of for the past few years, I have been continuously working to improve the efficiency of facility management, including office optimization in accordance with Fujitsu Group's advanced working style and the culture and lifestyle of each country. Prior to that, I was Senior Manager of In-house Construction Management Department, leading a team of 11 to carry out construction project management for various Fujitsu Group investment facilities. Prior to becoming a manager, I worked as a mechanical and environmental engineer on (1)HAVC systems data centers, factories, and offices, on (2)pure water and wastewater treatment in factories, and on (3)soil and groundwater pollution control, various projects in Fujitsu Group. All of my engineering essentials were acquired during my 10 years at Kajima Group. I was able to obtain the skills necessary for the process of construction of a wastewater and waste treatment plant (planning, design, site management, commissioning and delivery), which is delivered to local governments and private companies in Japan as customers.
