About Shinjini N.

Born and raised in the vibrant city of Calcutta, India, I’ve always been driven by curiosity and a deep desire to explore diverse cultures and languages. In 2017, that journey brought me to Mexico, where I immersed myself in the local culture and built a global career spanning account operations, customer success, and strategic project management. Over the past several years, I’ve worked primarily with tech companies and clients—ranging from fast-growing startups to enterprise-level organizations—delivering scalable systems that enhance customer engagement, drive adoption, and optimize retention. My career began at Toptal, where I managed a portfolio of Fortune 500 clients, leveraging technology and process optimization to deliver high-impact results. This experience laid the foundation for my cross-functional leadership approach, rooted in empathy, data, and execution. Currently, I serve as the Global Academic Success Lead at Covidence, where I partner with research institutions across EMEA, APAC, and North America to elevate user engagement and drive long-term adoption of our platform. I lead a globally distributed team of account managers and collaborate cross-functionally to design strategic initiatives that deliver measurable value in the academic and research space. Prior to this, I led Customer Advocacy and Pre-Sales Operations at FlightCX, where I specialized in process improvement, SLA compliance, and elevating the end-to-end customer experience. Outside of work, I’m a multilingual lifelong learner (fluent in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Bengali—currently learning Korean) and enjoy participating in community-based initiatives that promote access, equity, and education. Certified in Agile Project Management (Google) and working toward certification in Data Analytics, I’m passionate about using data, strategy, and empathy to build systems that empower people and create meaningful impact—particularly in education, tech, and research.
