About Shippy Singh

I am a Sophomore Computer Science student at NJIT’s Albert Dorman Honors College, pursuing a minor in Math of Finance and Actuarial Science. My interests include AI, generative models, and deep learning, and I enjoy exploring the intersection of technology and people through research, mentoring, and hands-on projects. At NJIT’s iXR Lab, I support research on human-computer interaction by designing digital data collection tools that improve accuracy and enhance participant engagement. I also assist with equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting, helping ensure experiments run smoothly and efficiently. In addition, I serve as a Peer Mentor for the Albert Dorman Honors College, guiding first-year students in their transition to college. I share academic strategies, connect them with campus resources, and help them build confidence as they adjust to demanding coursework. With experience in coding, data analysis, and problem-solving, supported by certifications in Generative AI and Machine Learning, I am eager to apply my skills to real-world challenges and contribute to innovative solutions in AI and computing.
