Innovation is seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought." For me, that means questioning the “we’ve always done it this way” mindset and finding smarter, faster, and more engaging ways to communicate, organize, and deliver results. Across 20+ years in communications, project leadership, and business operations, I’ve worked with mission-driven organizations, small businesses, and community publications to bring big ideas to life from concept to completion. I’ve led the editorial and operational strategy of a 48-page monthly publication, created full-scale marketing plans, managed high-stakes events, and helped organizations adopt new tools and digital processes that made their work easier and more effective. I’m known for blending strategic vision with hands-on execution: Communications & Storytelling: Crafting clear, compelling content that connects with audiences and strengthens organizational voice. Project & Workflow Management: Creating efficient systems to keep projects moving smoothly, on time, and on budget. AI Literacy & Integration: Teaching leaders and teams how to use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and more) to save time, improve accuracy, and unlock creativity. I thrive on collaborating with diverse contributors, including executives, designers, printers, marketing staff, and community partners, to meet deadlines and achieve shared goals. My work is fueled by curiosity, a love of problem-solving, and a commitment to making complex processes simpler and more human. When I’m not working, you might find me playing disc golf (poorly), making art in my sunroom, or juggling while trying not to fall off a unicycle. I’m also the kind of person who asks the names of my servers and says hello to strangers in elevators, because small connections can make a big difference.
