About Shira Wolfson

I am a Registered Dietitian currently working at a Long Term Care facility in Montclair, New Jersey, as well as at a pediatric private practice in Brooklyn, NY. In my Long Term Care facility, I complete nutrition assessments, required quarterly and annual notes and monitor residents weights, along with significant weight changes. I counsel residents on appropriate diets. I manage residents on tubefeeds and residents on dialysis. At the pediatric private practice, I counsel patients one on one. I help the clients create personalized meal plans and educate them on healthy eating. I completed my Dietetic Internship at Brooklyn College in May 2018. During my internship, my rotation sites included Gouverneur Health, Maimonides Medical Center Pediatric Unit, Maimonides Medical Center Outpatient sites, and Brooklyn College Nutrition Clinic.
