About Shirlette Robinson

I’m a filmmaker and instructional assistant with a passion for storytelling, on the page, in the classroom, and behind the camera. I’m currently earning my B.S. in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University while building my woman-led production crew through The Shirlette Collective. My work spans live event production, documentary filmmaking, and hands-on tech coordination (video, sound, AV). Most recently, I served as Producer and AV Lead for the OWDET Women’s Awards Show, where I directed all backstage tech, including multi-camera setups, livestreaming, and cue-to-cue run-of-show. Whether it’s elevating student voices through film or crafting beautiful narratives for the screen, I bring creativity, calm under pressure, and a love for collaboration to every project. Currently open to summer Production Assistant and Film Support roles.
