Was hired in 1985 as a fiscal assistant for the Office of the Budget's Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) Comptroller Operations' Customs and Excise Unit and has remained with the office for over 28 years. Over the first 10 years, I was promoted to fiscal technician, accountant I, and Accountant II. In 1997, I received a Special Citation for Outstanding Accomplishment for maintain the office alone while working with software vendors on the development and installation of a customized Automated Broker Interface (ABI) operations system. In 1998, I received a Letter of Recognition from Robert. A. Bittenbender, Secretary of the Office of The Budget, for passing the Customs Brokers exam. In I was promoted to Accountant and the Customs and Excise Unit was upgraded to an Office level. In 2009, the office was transferred from PLCB Comptrollers' Operations to the PLCB Agency. I have maintained an overall Employee Performance Review (EPR) rating of Outstanding from 1998 until present.
