About Shishir Kumar

As a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Yashoda Hospital, I lead the Neurointervention and Endoscopic Spine Surgery unit, where I perform complex and challenging procedures to treat a variety of neurological disorders and injuries. I have over three years of experience in this field, having completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Endoscopic Spine Surgery in Seoul, South Korea, and a fellowship in Neurointervention and Endovascular Surgery in Kolkata, India. I am passionate about advancing the field of Neurosurgery through academic and research activities, as well as providing compassionate and quality care to my patients. I have multiple publications in national as well as international journals. As my endeavor to return something to society, I also run a charitable clinics with the help of friends in peripheral areas in Delhi/NCR and my hometown, where I offer free consultations to the underprivileged. My goal is to leverage my skills and expertise to improve the lives of people suffering from neurological conditions and to contribute to the development of Neurosurgery as a specialty.
