About Shivam Arora

A Fourth-year undergraduate student at Thapar University with an interest in Data structures and Algorithms, Website and Application Development. One of my favourite aspects of programming is the possibility to collaborate with people from various fields. Working with so many different individuals and departments is a big part of the software development lifecycle, and as a people person who enjoys forming new relationships, it's nice to be able to connect with other professionals who are working toward the same goal. As part of our college curriculum, I am exposed to operating systems, database management systems, and computer networks. I've worked on projects that used Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Socket.IO library, and the PUG template engine, as well as developer tools like Visual Studio Code and Android Studio. For the summer of 2022, I got an internship at IIT Roorkee to work under the professor and build an AI application. I'm glad to say that my web and app development work has assisted my clients in expanding their businesses and increasing revenue. I've improved my skills by being able to acquire customer needs and transform them into an engaging, effective, and unique website.
