About Shivana Laughlin

I am a disciplined and dynamic logistics executive with 15+ years of experience across freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and line management. After starting my career at McCann Erickson and Nestlé T&T, I joined my family’s company — International Shipping Limited (ISL) — in 2006. Over the years, I held roles across nearly every department before being appointed Group CEO in 2023. My focus is on business process reengineering, collaborative leadership, and shaping ISL’s long-term strategic direction across the Caribbean and U.S. markets. With a BSc. in Management Studies (UWI) and an MSc. in International Business (King’s College London), I bring both academic insight and hands-on leadership to the table. Outside of work, I’m a certified Hatha Yoga instructor, an avid hiker, and a lover of Latin dance, nature, and fiction. I value adventure, balance, and authenticity — both in business and in life.
