About Shivya Roy

I am Shivya Roy, a seasoned psychotherapist with a diverse background in the field. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of assisting more than individuals in addressing their mental health challenges. I employ a range of therapeutic techniques including CBT, BT, REBT, SFBT, Narrative Therapy, and Assertiveness Training, and I’ve worked across both online and offline mediums. My specialization lies in Mood Disorders, Stress, and Relationship challenges, and I aim to provide a beacon of resilience for those confronting mental health issues. I graduated with an M.Sc in Psychological Counselling from the renowned Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR) and earned my BA in Psychology Honours from Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce. Beyond individual and group therapies, I am deeply committed to the field of psychology. Earlier in my career, I guided thousands of students preparing for competitive exams. As an educator, I’ve trained postgraduate psychology students on subjects like abnormal psychology and essential counselling skills.
