Did you know we spend an average of 3 MILLION MINUTES WORKING in our lifetime? I don’t know about you but that is way too long to be stuck in a job you hate. Good news for you though, that’s where I come in to help! My name is Sho Dewan, and I am a career coach, LinkedIn Top Voice: Job Search and Careers, and content creator. I am the founder and face behind Workhap — a career coaching and training company that reaches 1.5+ million people everyday with our content and have been featured on Forbes, CNBC, Bloomberg, and more. I haven’t always been in these shoes though. I kickstarted my career in corporate and had a lot of the same roles that I see my clients with today. I worked in consulting in Big 4, handled marketing campaigns in global tech firms, and got my first taste of people development, recruitment, and HR while working with Simon Sinek. But even when I had these fancy titles and big salaries, I wasn’t fulfilled. And after working with thousands of people, I realized that I wasn’t alone here. Most career advice tells you to play it safe, find a stable career, and move up the corporate ladder. I say: EFF THAT!
