I graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources, specializing in Wildlife Biology. The program, offered by the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, is renowned for its leadership in addressing social and ecological dimensions of environmental sustainability. During my studies, I conducted research on diverse topics including black bear distribution, field rodent dispersal, turtle identification, coastal resiliency, wetland protection, fish microbiology, geese banding, and endangered piping plovers tracking. I actively engaged in environmental education by teaching gardening and environmental stewardship to children and adults, fostering a deeper appreciation for biodiversity and sustainable practices. My passion spans across many topics including herpetology, wildlife management, environmental education, and occupational therapy, reflecting a holistic approach to environmental and community challenges. Equipped with skills in research, data analysis, and GIS extrapolation, I am prepared to contribute effectively to environmental planning and conservation efforts. I am eager to apply my knowledge and experience to roles that align with my interests, aiming to make a meaningful impact on ecosystems and community well-being.
