I joined State Street Syntel in 2017, immediately after graduation, and concurrently completed a full-time MBA in Finance. At Syntel, I worked within the Accounting and Custody teams, focusing on resolving system discrepancies by researching unmatched transactions and clearing them on the same day. Additionally, I was responsible for daily reconciliations and managing multiple client accounts with varying deadlines. My contributions were recognized with several awards, including Syntel Champ, Spot Recognition, and Values Awards. Within just nine months, I was fast-tracked for a promotion and had the opportunity for presentation twice on the floor.In 2019, I transitioned to BNY Mellon as an Analyst in Investment Manager Reconciliation. In this role, I reconciled investment managers’ figures with BNY Mellon’s records and provided monthly reconciliation reports to clients, detailing discrepancies and research findings. Also provided reports to the clients. In 2021, I moved to Citi, joining the Investment Operations team as a Specialist. I was responsible for reviewing and reconciling trades before execution in the market, as well as providing various reports to both clients and onshore teams within tight deadlines. I also worked as an Investment Specialist, reconciling and authorizing deals involving bonds, notes, and unit trusts, processing transfers for investment products, and preparing trade reports for the Singapore-based onshore team.Since 2023, I have been with Alliance Bernstein as a Senior Analyst, focusing on the reconciliation of international and domestic mutual funds. In addition to my core reconciliation responsibilities, I also support compliance efforts, particularly in Customer Screening, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring.
