Strong clinical and organizational development professional, noted as an expert in the field of substance use and prevention with experience spanning over 16 years leading from a lens hope, love, empathy, as well as accountability, responsibility, and a healthy dose of humility. As a seasoned Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Shreeta’s passion, drive, and commitment has become visible and recognized, not just in Kentucky, but across the United States. From request to conduct live Naloxone presentations for local civic leaders, press conference, to being selected to provide thought leadership via speaking engagements with the Commission for Opioid Abatement at the Attorney General’s office, to participating in national, local and city conferences such as the National Harm Reduction Coalition Conference in Puerto Rico held in the Fall of 2022. Shreetas influence and presence in these spaces has been recognized as an essential and needed voice at tables to influence changes in policies, regulations, and effectively challenge antiquated belief systems that perpetuate the state of health disparities in marginalized communities.
