Hi! I’m Shreta, fueled by data and curiosity! I hold an Integrated Master of Science in Statistics from the Central University of Rajasthan. Through my extensive coursework, certifications, internships, competitions, and projects, I’ve developed a solid foundation in statistics, data analytics, and data visualization. My technical skills include proficiency in R, Python, Power BI, and tools like GIT and MS Office. Beyond academics, I gained practical experience as a Data Analyst Intern at the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (DGMS Dhanbad). My work involved data cleaning, geospatial analysis, and interactive data visualization of mine data across India. I focused on analyzing data anomalies and coal mine accidents. For my Master's project, I conducted a Geospatial analysis of crime against women and children in India. This involved gathering raw data from government websites, cleaning it, and using Power BI for mapping, K-Means clustering for categorizing crime zones and proposing a new crime severity index. Another significant project of mine was time series analysis of Bitcoin, where I applied advanced models like GARCH and EGARCH to model price volatility. I also participated in the WiDS Datathon 2023 (Kaggle), where we used Regression, XGBoost, and Neural Networks to forecast extreme weather, ranking 281 out of 700 teams worldwide.
