In 2007, a bunch of passionate and persistent individuals formed Matrix Recon Pvt Ltd. to help developers sell their inventory in a much more efficient and professional manner. Their profound understanding of processes while performing core activities made them excited enough to deep dive into the developers’ ecosystem and revolutionize it by creating advanced business solutions involving finance, marketing and technology that focus on streamlining overall business performance and operational productivity, thereby increasing margins by reducing cost and improving efficiency. We are thus in the business of Realty Optimization and have since handled projects across Mumbai and Hyderabad. Our transparency in dealings, strong work ethic and mind-blowing teamwork are the reasons why our clients put their complete faith in us and are enabled to focus on what they do best and leave the rest to us. In 2022, Houzer was conceptualised. Houzer is a proptech platform, the brainchild of Shreya Mody and Manisha Mehta, two tech veterans with 17 years of experience each in real estate sector and 10 years experience each in IT sector. Over the years they got to work in close quarters with housing societies, where they realized that most of them were facing similar challenges like: Low negotiation power with regards to vendors owing to limited local options and lack of technical knowledge. Inability to act on the legal, structural and compliance related matters of the society owing to limited understanding of the same. Trust deficit between society residents and committee members leading to strained relations and a hostile environment. Committee members lack time for thorough vendor vetting, causing delays and errors in decisions. HOUZER REDEVELOPMENT TEAM offers redevelopment advisory thus providing simplified and empowering solutions. What further troubled them was the helplessness of most housing societies with relation to redevelopment of their premises. They noticed how lack of technical and legal expertise often impeded their ability to take prompt and accurate decisions, this often led to mistakes in selection of Project Management Consultants (PMC’s) or builders, thus putting the society at risk. In response to these challenges, Shreya and Manisha conceptualized Houzer Pvt Ltd, a tech-based real estate startup aimed at empowering housing societies. Today Houzer is driven by an army of industry experts and is a one-stop solution addressing the multifaceted issues encountered by housing societies.
