About Shrian Jivan

I am pursuing a bachelor's and master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. I have maintained a 3.77 GPA and earned the Dean's List recognition for seven semesters. I am passionate about learning, engineering, and problem-solving, and I am interested in chemical processes, process engineering, manufacturing, and energy. I have demonstrated my entrepreneurial spirit and interpersonal skills by starting my own low-voltage electrical company, designing and installing electrical systems, and consulting with clients. I am a technically-minded, dedicated, and motivated individual who strives to learn and grow personally and professionally. As a Technical Analyst Intern at Erise, I conduct in-depth prior art searches and patentability assessments to assist clients in identifying and protecting their innovation opportunities. I also collaborate with the legal team to support patent litigation cases by drafting and analyzing patent applications and conducting validity and infringement analyses. I have gained valuable experience and skills in process engineering, intellectual property law, and patent writing across several technical fields.
