Mechanical Engineer with 11+ years of experience in CNC Machinist Cum Manual Programmer, CAD/CAM programming, quality systems, and strategist production planning. My career spans both Indian and UK-based manufacturing, blending shop-floor expertise with digital manufacturing workflows. I started as a CNC Turning Operator cum Programmer, gaining 2 years of hands-on machining experience. During my engineering degree, I learned EdgeCAM through a CIM lab, which sparked my interest in computer-integrated manufacturing. After completing my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, I earned a Mastercam certification From Karnataka German Technical Training Institute ( KGTTI ) in Turning & 3-Axis VMC, which led to a 3-year role as an Application Engineer at one of Mastercam’s authorized resellers. I delivered technical demos, managed customer accounts, supported post-processor development, and was awarded the Best Contributor Award (2017) for driving customer success and sales growth. I then joined a Nasmyth India as a Senior Engineer – CAD/CAM Programming, where I managed the complete workflow from engineering drawings to 3D modeling, fixture design, CNC programming (Mastercam), and toolpath verification (Vericut). I generated complete machining packages—including setup sheets and tool lists—for execution at the UK site. I also created ballooned drawings using InspectionXpert and prepared AS9100-compliant inspection reports. After working for 3 continuous years as a Senior Engineer – CAD/CAM Programming, the Nasmyth group decided to establish a new machining shopfloor plant in India. I transitioned to support this initiative by contributing to its setup and was later entrusted with handling Production Planning & Control (PPC). Starting from scratch, I independently built the entire PPC system using Excel (Office 365), learning through online resources. I developed Semi Automatics tools for job scheduling, routing, machine loading, capacity planning, OEE%, traceability, accountability and raw material tracking as per AS9100D. I also perform What-If analysis for evaluating cost, time, and resource utilization, enabling data-driven decision-making reports and real-time production insight to managements. I bring a unique blend of shopfloor experience, CAD/CAM software expertise, shopfloor reality, digital & production planning strategy, process planning, Excel automation, and cross-functional team execution, —bridging from Raw Material to Parts Dispatch/Delivery till to Customer. in 2024 Customer Delivery ( OTD ) performance achieved 95.98 %
