Background

About Shriram Radhakrishnan

Skilled mechanical engineer with robust FEA and computational fluid dynamics background. Focused on heat transfer principles to aid design, simulation, and testing. These are some of the problems I am currently working on for our clients: Automotive: achieving optimal operating temperatures for catalytic and exhaust systems in 'cold start' conditions. Creating thermal barriers for other mechanical/electrical components. Healthcare: designing improved insulation for both steam ablation and cryogenics including cryogenic needles for medical devices. Also, addressing autoclaving challenges for devices that need to enter a clean room. Consumer Devices: flexible thermal barriers designed to conserve and contain heat especially in unique geometric configurations and reducing heat on the product's skin. Aerospace: liquid nitrogen and hydrogen insulation design along with other jet engine thermal barrier design. Defense: heat signature, heat shielding, and heat protection in weaponry to address detection, mirage effect, and skin burns. I am an enthusiastic problem solver and a good team player, interested in developing solutions that make a difference. Visit the Concept Group website at https://conceptgroupllc.com/
