Shruthi is a versatile professional passionate about social justice. They are currently an Associate at Mariwala Health Initiative, a philanthropic funding agency for innovative mental health initiatives, with a particular focus on making mental health accessible to marginalized persons and communities. In their last position at Samarth Life Management, they worked on the Samarth Health Privilege Plan, a product that significantly reduces Senior Citizens' healthcare expenses that is the first of its kind in India. Prior to this, in their 2+ years at India's leading precious metals refining facility, they have worked on key transformation projects to facilitate company-wide restructuring. They nurture their passion for social impact by pursuing graduate education and workshops. They are also a poet, singer, writer and an intersectional feminist activist.
